After comparing my starter Ibanez GSA60 and my Ibanez S470, i've come to the conclusion that I like playing my GSA more

It's because of the lower medium-sized frets and lower action.

My budget is $750 or less, needs to have HSH or HSS. I played classic rock, metal, ect.

Uhh what so you want something similar to your GSA. Btw I have the same guitar, I like it.
Edit: does fret number matter to you?

Medium sized frets....Fender? Not the most metallic guitar, but it'll suffice.
Gear...
Peavey 5150, Squier, Ibanez RG2EX2, Yamaha F150, Ibanez RT150, MXR noisegate

low action can be achieved by your S470, you just gotta know how to adjust the truss rod + action properly

if you're liking the medium frets a lot, then look into the SA models

Yea, GSA = SA series. I've been looking into them also; check these models out (HSS):
* SA260FM
* SAS36FM (nearly the same but set neck)

Medium frets and low action. Well most guitars can get low action but to me, the obvious solution is:

Fender Stratocaster

Enjoy.
Ibanez PGM301
Ibanez GRG170DX
Fender Telecaster MiJ - 1986
Swing T-Through

Ibanez TS9DX
Sovtek Small Stone - c.1985
EHX Big Muff
Kimbara Wah - c.1974
Boss GE-7

Orange Rocker 30 Combo

Peavey makes a couple good ones- HP sig is a great guitar.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

Try lowering the action on the S470. And then, if the jumbo frets still bother you, buy another guitar. Like tubaboy said, the HP sig is pretty cool.

It wasn't mean, it was Portuguese.

I've lowered the action on the S470, and it gets a ****load of buzz, but on my GSA it's LOWER, and has zero buzz.

I just dislike the feel of jumbo frets, medium makes it play smoother for me

Are there any other guitars for around $500 that fit my needs? The SA is all i've found.

There could be any number of problems...

1. Neck is warped / not straight
2. Trem is set up incorrectly, refer to Rich's site.
3. Frets need to be crowned.

I don't think it's the fret size that is causing you trouble, I think it's the lack of setup on the 470

The jumbo frets are taller than the GSA, and for some reason I get easier fret access with the GSA
