When I do searches on any search bar, my previous searches always show up. (For example: When I type in an S, I get all searches that I have done previously starting with an S.) It only started doing this recently. Is there any way that I can turn this function off and/or delete my search history? (For the record, I tried deleting cookies, files, and history.) And before anybody asks, I was looking at porn.

If you're using firefox you can just go to privacy in options and delete search history.

I'm using Internet Explorer .

I really wish I could, but my dad has put an administrative block on downloading ANYTHING. Does anybody happen to know how to get around that one? He has a password on his account.

Just highlight the thing you want to delete and press the 'delete' key. Not backspace, delete.

run-cmd-net user-net user "name" *

That will let you change the password to anything on XP. But you can't change it back. And it might not work if you aren't admin.

Let's say I were to put FireFox onto a flash-drive from my friends computer. Would I be able to temporarily open FireFox on my computer even if the download block is still on?

You have to type everything you've typed before backwards and it deletes it.

Ie. old Google search: Vagina
new Google search: anigaV

It shouldn't show up in the search bar anymore.
