I am, in the next few months, going to be buying parts from warmoth and other places, with the intention of assembling them to create a guitar.

Im thinking of buying an ash strat type body and a maple/rosewood neck with a reverse headstock, but thats all im really sure of atm.

My budget is around 800-1000 USD, and I play a wide variety of music, from classical to jazz to rock, but I am look for a guitar that is vintagey and versatile at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

warmoth makes double neck bodies? you could do that with humbucks on one side and single coils on the other.

Make a Stevie Ray Vaughan duplicate guitar.
That'd be cool.
I've always been partial to guitars that don't have a color, just the natural wood stain.

It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.
