ok I am working on finding the key of a song. Just to mke sure I'm on the right track wouldn't they key to Night Moves by Bob Seger be G Major? The progression he tends to use throughout the song is G Major a few times then F Major then C a few times. Is this right?

edit sorry guys i meant fot the progression G major then F major then C major

It might be G major with a bVII, or G mixolydian, or C major. It's hard to tell without hearing the song.

Definitly not G major
G major contains an F# instead of an F, night moves has a F major chord
If you want a key to the song, in a classical musical sense, the key is Cmajor, or Aminor

I looked at the tab and the verse (G, F, C) is definitely in C Major. Then again the chorus with D, Em, D, C is in G major/E minor.
