would it be able to swap out the bridge position single coil pickup on my strat, which is a cheap knock-off of a real fender, for a high or low output humbucker? this is probably a stupid question, I jsut don't want to buy aa humbucker and then learn I wasted $100

most strats are routed for a hummbucker in the bridge, but you will need to make the hole in the scratchplate bigger, or seymour duncan make mini hummbuckers, which are the size of single coil, so you could try those.
