The vox wah can handle anything. It's a really versatile pedal.
Alvarez dreadnought
Gibson SG
EC-1000
Homemade Strat (seymour duncan classic stack p/ups)
Vox Tonelab (original desktop model) with full board footswitch
Vox AD50
Avatar V30 4x12 cab

If it didn't respond well to high gain, then it wouldn't have been used by Hendrix, Clapton and Page.

if you were wondering the same, then why did you

1. make another thread
2. make another thread in the wrong forum
3. didnt check the ultimate wah thread?

I have a V847 Vox Wah: it handles high gain just fine. It's just very harsh with lots of distortion is all. If you like a harsher, more trebley, and more aggressive wah than what most high gain artists use then go for it.

Dyou think it could handle Fru high gain wah stuff?

Since when are they considered users of high gain?

Dimebag used a Vox wah for all his wah stuff, and he used a ****load of distortion.

Michael Amott also swears by a Vox wah, and his stuff isn't as distorted.

I'd say hell yeah!
