ok i have a friend who bought a new guitar what kind of stuff should i teach him he's really noob but he can read tab though and i dont know any scales but i do know basic techs which ive covered with him such as : hammers, pulls, bends, slides, basic chord structure is there anything else i could try to teach him??

get him started on some songs that use a lot of techniques like you listed but arent too hard. sweet home alabama is a good one. probbaly shouldnt go into the solos just yet, but the first soloo after the first chorus isnt too hard. i would teach him some of that song
