Does the GK 700 RB-II head have enough power to power the GK 410SBX and GK 115SBX cabs together? im not sure if it will be over powered or be just right for the cabs.

more importantly why is arik marshall labelled as john frushante in your avatar?

back on topic it 1x15 it 8 ohm by itself and the 4x10 doesn't say but one of the reviews states 8ohms as well. so you may wanna look at a bigger head.

Also i like this quote from the review "Most cabs have a RMS, which is the reccomended minimum wattage that should be pumped out, any less is hurting the cab."

Recommended Minimum Swattage? i always thought it was root mean squared, but maybe thats just me lol

the 700RBII will put out 480 watts at 4 ohms, so that would be 240 per cab, that is enough, but if you want to make sure the 1001 puts out 700 watts(i think) which is 350 a cab, which is better

both the cabs are 8ohms.

You could always go to a music store ask the guys there, maybe even try out the rigs, then say "ok, i just gotta go home and borrow money of my mum/bank girlfriend/pimp etc" and never come back

there aren't any SBX cabs at any music store around me.

remember that your cabs should usually be about double the wattage of your head.... otherwise if you turn it up you could damage the speakers.

I know it sounds stupid but if you look at combos it's more that true there. my 130 watt peavey combo has a 400 watt speaker. and my 60 watt combo has a 200 watt speaker and it still distorts some when i turn it up.

In other words i'd go with what you picked to begin with.
dean edge one 5 string
Schecter studio-4
Samick fairlane-6
Ibanez sb900
Ibanez btb775
Fender p bass special deluxe

Dean Del Sol
Ibanez prestige rg2610

Peavey TKO 65
Peavey vb-2

sbx cabs are out of production

the cabs in production now ( RBX ) have twice the wattage as the SBX

and a 700 RB-II would be fine with two SBX cabs, if you can find two SBX cabs
