Lets say I was in the key of G (Keeping it simple) and wanted to play in phrygian all over the neck. I know how to combine and weave between different modes, but I don't have a clue as to how to move a single mode around. Any help?

Here's what I mean. This is a video of Satch giving a lesson on modes. He'll say that he's playing in like, E Phrygian, and he'll be all over the place.

its the same as scales, apply the formula for the scale, view where the roots of E are, and go nuts with phrygian
