ok, this is directed towards a theory-educated audience, but.... ok, so the verses are made up of 5th chords mostly... the upper octave E5, D5, G5, and A5.... but then when it gets to the chorus, its all MAJOR chords... does this surprise anyone else? its just a very negative sounding song, yet all the chords are major. idk, staind has a knack for making those vocal melodies stand out as well...
how does this have anything to do with theory? sorry, im missing your question.
Because you need to be educated in theory to know major chords and power chords.
yep, sounds cool
