All the time. Sometimes I like to go drive around because I want to listen to music. It is very calming.

I'm broke as hell, so with gas prices the way they are, I really couldn't if I wanted to. Going for a drive can be quite calming though, especially late at night with few other people on the road.

^ How much are you guys paying for gas wherever you are at? I filled up a half tank for $3.13 a gallon today. It sucked.

That's why I drive around a lot, because listening to music in the car is way more fun than through my desktop speakers or on headphones. I love blasting power metal in the car because it feels like you are surrounded by an orchestra.

95 cents a litre here...so about $3.60 per gallon i believe.

And it's worse in Europe...count your blessings.

I used to drive around all the time...pretty much only drive from home to work and back every day and that's it these days.

I probably will do that when I get my license (next year). Either that or i'll have a stereo system installed into my bike.
#15
I love to do that. I wish gas was cheaper.

It is pretty calming to drive alone at night while listening to your favorite music and smoking a cigarette. I definatley enjoy taking the long way home some nights.

I will once I get my license in about a month.

Gas around here has dropped to about $2.60, so it's not too bad. By the time I can drive though it'll probably be back up near $3.00 a gallon.

A lot of people (men especially) feel a sense of power in their cars, like it's just natural to be in them. A drive alone is relaxing because it's just you and your beast on the road, no need to make conversation, or think of where to go, or keep up with the needs of others, it's just you and the accelerator.

It's like a nice cigar, but it pollutes Mother Nature's lungs instead of your own.
Just remember, while you're driving say, "Globally warm this, bitch."

Okay what the Hell, it's not even midnight and I'm already not making sense.

I put 15 bucks in my car today at $3.10 in Wisconsin..

I love driving my car cause its a manual and its sweet too shift, except I almost rear ended some stupid driver today. I was driving along and this lady seems to have almost missed her turn so she locks up her brakes and skids, so I hit my shifter into neutral and slam on the brakes and I couldn't go away from her cause a car was coming down the other way, so I honked at her and shifted into gear and drove off...I can't stand people like that!

AND she had no blinker!!

I've been going drive crazy lately. My old car was this junker that got about 17mpg on a good day. So i downgraded and bought a 4 banger, so now i'm getting like 30mpg, so it's good.

Gas got to 1.96 at Hess in Pennsylvania like a week ago. The pumps were a mad house..long story short, they ran out of gas.

Despite the fact that it wastes both time and gas, yeah it's fun.

I really like driving to work. I work all the way across town, so I have to drive about twenty minutes. The same with school. Only it takes about thirty minutes to get to school. It's really relaxing to fill my car with sound and float off into a mesmerizing trance adrift a sea of pavement and yellow paint.

Whoa. I just made a killer metaphor.

Gas is only about $2.65 here in Tennessee. I get my license on the 1st and i cant wait, except for the fact that my Jeep Cherokee only gets about 19 mpg.
#35
$2.69 here in Ohio. Yes, I drove 60 miles today when it is only 30 to the mall round trip. I can drive 100 miles in one day just for no reason.
