er. . .

you own one?

Idk, I don't own an accurate scale, but If most les pauls are around nine, I'd guess around 5 pounds? That's probably really off though.

A lot lighter than a Strat. If that helps...

the chinese take-out place my family always ordered from gave you chopsticks, so as a kid it was fun to try & eat with chopsticks
now i just use a fork, 'cuz nothing is fun anymore & i just want to shovel food into my mouth to fill the void

Now I've heard it all. Who give a #@$% about an SG's weight? It has got to be one of the lightest guitars out there. Play the damn guitar!!
#7
Really light. That's the best answer I can give.

to figure out if the weight suits you play your friends SG, then you'll know. I'm sure he'll let you use his guitar if he lets you use his UG account.

Who is a big enough ass to not let a friend try a guitar?

Come on, I would smack a friend if they said I couldn't play their guitar.

Point is, just pick it up. Does it REALLY matter with an exact weight?

Very light, but not as light as a superstrat/Soloist type guitar specifically designed to be light...
