Queens of the Stone Age play in C standard a lot. But since you were listening to Dethklok I'm guessing you're looking for something more metal than QOTSA.

Bullet for my Valentine play in C, as far as I know.
Try hand of blood, awesome song. =)

But how could you tune down so much, that your strings are still playable and not too "slacky"?

Just play some stuff you already know in the tuning you're in. Might sound cool, you never know.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?

They are in Drop D one step down apparently. The song is cool though I might have to learn it later. And about my strings, Im not even sure. I use standard .10's, but I like the feel of them when they are this loose. Its easier to do pinch harmonics and vibrato IMO. And thanks for the suggestions guys.

Arch Enemy uses C standard, and if you wanna go REALLY heavy, they have a few songs tuned to A# standard.
SOAD uses Drop C/C#, as stated above.
Children of Bodom's "Angels Don't Kill" is also in C standard.
