Instead of making threads about underground black metal bands which get 2 replies and then go extinct I thought that we could do an official thread about those bands that we like and discuss about them in this thread instead of making new ones, however, it's up to Bo and Greety to see if they'll let us keep this thread.

I could make a list but I don't think that would be cool cause lots of you know different and more bands etc.
I put a dollar in a change machine. Nothing changed.

... I see the point in this but... this is just elimating alot of threads and alot o bands not being found.

because if this thread gets to say, 200 pages some people wont read it and maybe miss a life-changing band for them.

not a good idea IMO. but I suppose.

But if anybody posts a underground BM band in this thread, chances are they will get less then 2 responses and almost no recognition because they lack a dinstinct thread.

Belketre, Mutiilation, Vlad Tepes > all other LLN as far as black metal goes.

This thread are phail

+ Moevot and Brenoritzvrezorkre

Darkthule, Darkestrah and Nyktalgia are also bands that kick ass.

I think this is a good idea, it makes conversation easier just like in the thrash thread that seems to now have disappeared but used to work very well.
I'm entitled to double post, so fück off!!!

nah, caus if you're looking for great underground BM, you can just brwose through this thread and get some names instead of posting in the rec thread where you might get...2 responses.

According to BS statistics, 92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you're among the 8% who doesn't consider rap to be real music, donate your brains, as you clearly aren't using them.
#16
I also believe this to be a good idea, but why not take it a step further, and see if Bo and Greety allow an Underground Recommendation Thread. Seeing as the original rec thread focuses on the more "mainstream" bands, and most people use it for that. Not to say I disrespect the rec thread (I know they all worked very hard on making it), but I think an underground thread for the more seasoned users would be cool.

Personally, I find most underground black metal bands to be complete and utter failures. For every decent band, there's like 2527432 that suck massively.

I love Akitsa, their style is cool. Goétie and Sang Nordique are their best and La Grande Infamie was pretty good too. They do have some stuff though that is a bit too punkish for me (like Eps or splits).

And lets keep this thread free of spam or useless not-funny comments. This is a good place for this type of broad conversation, which is nice.

I'm really gettin into the kinda beautiful sounding arty black metal at the moment, I can't stop listening to Alcest/Amesoeurs, Ne Obliviscaris, Mefisto, some dark ambient stuff etc etc

That kinda stuff blends really nicely with the little post rock phase I'm going through for some reason lol (Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Red Sparrowes etc)

I'd lurve some more dark ambient that's got similar atmosphere (OMG MODZ ASKIN FOR REC OUTSIDE DA REC THRED!?!?)
#35
Paysage D'Hiver - Die Festung is a must for any dark ambient fan.
Death Cube K (believe it or not, it's a buckethead sideproject)
Liquid Mind - the most euporic feelings put to music
Brian Eno - specifically, Amibent Works IV

I've played Atkisa on my radio show and my co-host turned it off due to ****ty production. I don't understand how both vocalist still have vocal chords....

Anyone know Rex Mundi or Mjolnir (thanks Mike)?
