Alright, first off, if this doesnt belong here, I'll move it or close it.

Im going on a plane trip on Tuesday and I'm bringing my guitar. I'm bringing my Strat, in case you needed to know. The flight is approx. 4 hours and I'm wondering, what do I need to do for my guitar? Should I loosen the strings, or go as far as taking them off and setting up a new set while I'm at my destination? Should I completely bubble wrap my hard case?

Any tips or important pointers?

Thanks
-Danny.

got a hardshell case? if so, definitely take it in that, i would go as far as loosening the strings. if no hardcase, definitely bubblewrap it and box it like you would ship it even. im always to careful with my stuff though.

Remember to lock it! I dont know about regulations when putting that in with luggage. But better be safe than sorry.
