I'd much rather have American - the rolled fingerboard is an incredibly useful to me, with my Hendrix style thumb-over-top technique I use often, and I find they play a hell of a lot better. But then again my Mexican is awesome for what I paid. Far more usable stock then my Epi LP.

I love my mexican.

It just feels right. More so than any MIA I've played.

And it sounds great, and it's built well too. Maybe I was just lucky and got a really good one.
