Alrite, I have found an ad for a Carvin MTS3212. He is selling it for $375.

I also have a guy selling a Peavey Classic 50 410 for $275.

I was reading that the Carvin does have a great drive channel, which can get a lot heavier than the Peavey, not that I'm a metalhead.

The Carvin is all American made, and has a lot of great features like switching from 100w/50w, direct out, effects loop, and speaker outs.
Peavey has some good features too.

They are both great amps, but the Carvin is smaller, which I like.
Anyways...your opinions?

EDIT: Just found a Crate Vinatge Club 50 212 for $400.
I guess that would be similar to the Crate Palomino series.

Judging by your description the Carvin would be a good choice. I have heard alot of good things about Carvin. Peavey too. I would go for the Carvin.
Gear:
Schecter C-1 BlackJack
Peavey 5150 II
Ibanez 25W "Tone Blaster"
Fender Starcaster (Not the vintage kind, the Wal-Mart Value kit kind"

If Dimebag22 was a pie, I would cover him with whipped cream and eat his insides...

Oh noes, now I dont know what to do. The guy selling the Peavey said he didn't want to sell em now, but I told him that I had the cash and he said I could come try em out.

I guess if they are equal, then I will go with the Peavey from a pure price standpoint.
