There is a deal on ebay about a Gallien Krueger 800RB from 1984. I really like the amp and it is an extremely good deal so I just want to know: should I go for it?

I would show the Item in question but I don't want anybody snagging it.

go ahead, the 800RB hasn't changed too much, as long as it is in good condition and you know you like it

the 800 is a fine amp, in fact duff mckagen used that head excllusively until he got his hands on the 2001.

of all the pro artists ive seen sponsored by/endorse GK amps, the 2 most popular are hands down 2001 in first and 800 in second. so u can't go wrong.

Does it have the Horn Management System?

Also, How much will a GK SBX 410 run me?

Nearly anything GK is worth a look. I just brought home a brand spanking new Goldline 410 and Backline 600 head....they make awesome gear. an SBX 410 would probably run you around $500
