try a used B-52 112 combo...I dont think you can get much better for 300 bucks

$300 isnt much but def. do-able.

Id get something with a nice clean and then a pedal. And look for used, then you can get a nice amp for $300. Try for a Valveking 112

Roland Cube is ur best bet. not tube, but the best amp in that price range.

if not, go used on:
Peaveys. Valveking, JSX, XXX, even 5150 if u find a whack deal!!!

For modern metal, you ain't getting far with 300. As stated by many others, your best bet is a Cube.
