I just put a 10-46 set on my dinky (FR licensed bridge) and the tension seems higher than i ever remember it being, which has also raised the action uncomfortably. I just came off a 10-42 set, although i had always used 10-46 before that, and i adjusted the trem springs accordingly. Im trying to lower the action with the rocker screws on the bridge, but it doesnt seem to be helping too much. Any help would be appreciated.
Which tuning are you using? If you are using standard, maybe the gauge is to high..

( Moonspell FTW!! )
its probably just the higher tension on the strings and their higher gauge. As you had to tighten your springs on the back there is now more tension on the strings combined with ur now higher gauge. As far as i know its just how it is.
