i was considering buying a strat within a few months, and i was just wondering, is there anything i can do to prevent the strat from going out of tune when i use the whammy bar, i dont you can put a floyd rose bridge on a strat can you?

you can put a floyd rose on a strat, just its a bit of work if you want to do it right

if you get yourself a set of locking tuners it stays in tune pretty well

Yeah, installing a Floyd would let you dive hella without worry.
WHY IS EVERYONE IN THE PIT A FUCKING METALCORE KID

There's a Floyd Rose Strat for like...500 bucks

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Standard-FR-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=517910

and yes, its an original, I played one at a store a while back, but it had Gilmour's EMG set on it, but the guy told me it was aftermarket, so whatever.

well i was thinking about buying a standard for 400$, and if im gonna buy one, i might as well fork out the extra 100$ and get the floyd rose on it, thanks

I just tightened the screws holding the bridge and it doesn't go out of tune unless I'm doing some crazy divebombs.
