Hey,
I've decided to start reseaching some good tube amps for my next amp.
I just need a step up from my crappy spider.
I'm looking for a decently loud (i'll be doin small gigs and bedroom practice with this).
I'll be playing mostly cleans, blues, and maybe a bit of higher-gain rock.
It doesn't have to handle all of those, but mainly cleans and blues.
My budget is around 500 dollars or less.

I was looking at a fender blues junior, but I read alot of mixed reviews on harmony central on it. I also found a Peavy Classic 30w combo for like 350.
If there's anything else you can recommend, i'll go try it at a local store.

Thanks!
Call me Wes.

I was searching around some of my store's used amps, and I found a '63 Gibson Mercury halfstack for 500 bucks. Anyone know anything about these?

I would say a Crate Palomino 30w, which is $500. If ur mid-price range is around $300-$550, the perfect amp for u would probably be the B-52 AT-112 60w amp. Its $550, but worth it.

Also try a Peavey Valveking 50 watt 112 tube combo. $449 USD list. Don't forget about the used market. Lots of good amps out there.

i got mine for 395 no tax. and if youre going to be playing cleans alot and youre on a budget, this is the amp for you. reallllly good cleans for the small price. but the distortyion is kinda muddy, but a pedal can fix that
