i really want a sg and cant afford a gibson so im gonna go with a g400 but i really dont like the half pick gard is there any way i could swich it to a full pick guard and how much would it cost?
ps if this is a dum Question im sorry but i had to ask it

all you would have to do is buy a full sg pick guard (and its guard...not gard) and ud have to drill some new holes for it....

oh maybe not I didnt read that...lol i just did a quick search, maybe they do have different sizes...

he also has a faded special, and sg standard covers...they look identical but I guess some of the holes could be like a quarter of an inch off or something

The pick guards line up differently on all the different models of SGs even among the Gibsons and can even vary by the year.

You can try asking these guys if they can do it but I'd imagine it would fall under their "custom order" rules since the full pick guard isn't standard on a G-400.
