I should have up to £300 to play around with to get myself a new amp in a few weeks time, the tricky thing is that i need something powerful enough to use at small venue gigs, i.e. pubs and clubs. i therefore need an amp of at least 100W. any suggestions on what would be an overall good amp that i could buy in this price range which would be worthy of live playing? thanks in advance everyone.

100 W is a lot for small venue gigs, I think you'll get around with 50 W (I think, don't trust on me)
Gear:
Fender Jazzmaster
Boss DS-2
Digitech RP150 (with Line6 EX-1 Exp pedal)
Orange Crush 30R

not really, were not talking about guitar amps here. Go for an amp with a 15" or 2X10" speakers i would say.

May i suggest:
