Hi !

I wanna change my guitar strings and I was wondering what to choose... I play mostly rock and metal

I wanted to get some DR Black Beauties Electric Guitar Strings because they have a black coating on it, is it good?

Also, I'm considering changing the strings on my old Yamaha FG-35 acoustic... what's a good set for acoustic guitars?

It depends on you and your guitar. We cant tell you what you like. You just have to experiment with many different kinds untill you find ones that you like.

I personally prefer Elixir .10 Strings. I used them for my electric and acoustic guitars. They last a really long time and almost never rust. They're a little more expensive but worth it. Try lots of different strings to see what works for you.
