Im looking for an amp to play stuff like Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Alter Bridge, Velvet Revolver, and kings of Leon. I was thinking about getting a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for the vintage distortion for Pearl Jam and Kings of Leon and for the cleans. Then get a B-52 At-212 for my hi gain distortion to play Brand New, TBS, and Alter Bridge. I like to use a lot of gain when Im playing on a distortion channel when Im playing punk so I think the B-52 would work fine and the Fender would be great for cleans and light distortion. If I didn't have a budget of under $1400, I think I would go for a Mesa Roadking, but since I dont have that kind of money I thought the Fender and B-52 could do it fine. Would this work fine or should I go for something else?
You can afford a Mesa Express or used F30/50 which would do both jobs for you. You're not getting Fender cleans, but these Mesas do a nice job with them. The gain on the Mesas will blow away the B-52.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.
