Well UG, I'm here in California for one more week and am looking for a couple of final places to visit. Any suggestions? BTW don't say theme parks or water parks.

California Living Museum (CALM)
Founded in 1980, CALM displays and interprets native animals, plants, specimens, and artifacts to teach a respect for all living things through education, recreation, conservation, and research.

Google: Things to do in California, comes up with lots.
#9
well what city/region are you in? northern california and southern california are so different they might as well be two different states, so just asking for things to do in california in general won't quite work out.

San Francisco is fun if you visit there. Lots of landmarks for sightseeing if you like that stuff. There are also theme parks and stuff in California. You can go to Disneyland in Los Angeles =P. I forgot the name of the other park, but it's near Disneyland. Hope you enjoy CA!

What I have always wanted to do in california was... go to a well populated, nice beach, take an acoustic and some friends, and during the day or night, play nothing but chili pepper tunes man, its I wanna do that so bad. I also wanted to drive along california's highways, or roads near a beach, while listening to some chili peppers, everyone singing along. It'd be better if the songs came on the radio, but CD's will do. Anyway thats what I wanna do in california.
anybody wanna put anything here just let me know

TWO WORDS!

IN n' OUT!

I don't care what you do in California, but if you aren't from the west coast get your ass down to IN n' OUT and have the best burger you'll ever have.

And btw stay far away from Fresno. There isn't anything to do here but meth. Well... I suppose we could jam. But besides that it's nothing special.
No one knows what it's like... to be a dustbin... in Shaftesbury... with hooligans...

^ +1,000,000,000. In N Out owns EVERYTHING. i'm actually taking a trip down there pretty soon and thats the VERY first thing i'm doing is going to in n' out. and hot dog on a stick.
for places to sight see, go to the winchester mansion- you'll learn about the guy who made winchester rifles but mostly about his psycho wife who built windows into walls and doors that lead to a room where you couldn't get out. and hm i'd also recomend going to the jelly belly factory.

Hey, it's Kankuro again. Aww I'm on vacation and out of the country, or you could've jammed with me in San Jose. Be sure to visit these spots in Northern California, which is the only area I know kinda well: In San Francisco, see the Golden Gate Bridge and vista point, the Embarcadero, the Mission district, and if you have the time, Point Reyes. In Santa Cruz, you can go to the beaches or visit the Mystery Spot, which is a spoof on gravity and it kicks ass. In San Jose, there's not much to see except for the headquarters of Apple and HP. That's right, I used to go to high school a mile away from both of those. Be sure to stop at the Tech Museum if you're in San Jose. Stop by Berkeley and check out the famous college and the hippie culture. That's about it for now. I'll give you more if I think of any.

As of right now, my friend and I are staying at Hampton Inn in Palmdale. There is a Guitar Center across the street, it's meh. The mall was also meh. Although they have a restaurant called "Famous Daves", the food was great. So far last week, I've been visiting Southern California and it's been nice. Although I miss Indiana. ........

go party in LA somewhere. go surf/skate.
I am a "CALIFORNIAN." That means... -Everyone hates cops -We'll roll up 40 deep when something goes down -I live next door to mexicans -Our chicks are WAYYYY hotter than yours - I know what real cheese & avocados taste like -All the porn you watch is made here, cause we **** better and thats how it is - I don't get snowdays off because theres only snow in Mammoth, Tahoe, Shasta, and Big Bear - I can wear sandals all year long - I go to the Beach - not "down to the shore" - I know 65 mph really means 100 - When someone cuts me off, they get the horn and the finger and high speed chase cuz we dont **** around on the road - The drinking age is 21 but everyone starts at 14 (legally 18 if you live close enough to the border) - My governor can kick your governors ass - I can go out at midnight -You judge people based on what area code they live in, and when asked where you're from, you give your area code - I might get looked at funny by locals when I'm on vacation in their state, but when they find out I'm from California I turn into a Greek GOD - We don't stop at stop signs... we do a "california roll" No cop no stop baby! - I can get fresh and REAL Mexican food 24 hours a day - All the TV shows you "other" states watch get filmed here -We're the Golden State. Not the Cheese State. Not the Garden State.....GOLDEN!!! - We have In-N-Out (Arizona and Vegas are lucky we share that with them) - I have the most representation in the House of Representatives, which means MY opinion means more than yours, which means I'm better than you - The best athletes come from here -We got disneyland....wut now! -we call it soda, not pop
