i got sub $100 to spend on a wah pedal and i've narrowed it down to two. whick one should i get?

the cry baby has prestige and "durability," but i also like the vox.

would the vox work well through a non-vox amp (if it makes a difference)?

i have a fender stratocaster through a fender hot rod deluxe

any advice as to how i should go about this. i'm planning to buy the pedal from guitar center (i got a gift card there), and i'm gonna go there soon to test it out myself. does anyone have any of these or can offer any advice?

i'm kinda partial to the dunolp

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

can you modify ur pedal? if so, definitely Dunlop. i haven't used $100 on it, but its far better than a Vox V847A. if u can't mod, Vox is the way to go. even though they aren't that great anymore. the V847 was better.

I came up with this kick ass riff on my ukelele when I was 12. Find out two years later, it was smoke on the water. Got my hopes and dreams killed..

how would you modify yours?

i've done some more research and i think i'm going with the dunlop. first of all, wah is one of their specialties, when i always viewed vox as a company specializing in amps. second, you can expand upon the cry baby.
anyways, clapton, hendrix, buddy guy, david gilmour and bo diddley used it.

Hey how hard is it to really mod the Crybaby and what are the usual costs, cause i'm thinkin about getting one from a local guitar shop to mod.

i spent $30 for mine. but most was the wah pot and the DPDT switch. pot was $20, Switch was $8. everything else would be less than $2.
