now i want an amp, my ****ty ass practice amp broke. im going to get a new one ASAP, but I need it to be pretty loud and decent sounding and at most $200. i know thats hard to figure out, but i need a replacement till a can afford something bigger and better.

im gonna go to guitar center tomorrow 11AM so please hurry!

i play punk, metal, rock and blues (in that order)

Suck it up and don't use an amp until you have more money? That's my first reaction. If you absolutely must have a practice amp, get a little Vox Valvetronix, or one of those neat little tube combos everyone and their mother is talking about, like a VJ, Champ, or Crate V16.

hey man, pick urslef up a Line 6 Spider 3 15watt amp. they have great sounds for the price. my friend has this amp and i have used it before and its pretty damn good. it has 4 tweakable tones (clean, crunch, metal, and insane) and it has effects like phaser, tremolo, flanger, sweep echo, echo, chorus, its a great amp for the price.

^ epic fail. Much better stuff out there for the money, like the small tube amps. Do you ever use pedals?
