Anyone here play deans? what do you guys think of them? I know a lot of people don't like their split headstocks, but i think they're great guitars. If you tried one, what did you think?

Yea, the Dime line of guitars are especially not worth the money you pay for. LFR, Dimebucker and etc. But the ML is a sweet guitar. If only they reduces their ridiculous prices, they would really establish themselves among all guitar players, not just pros.

the CFH is one suhweet import for the price though. it has the V profile neck, and the bill lawrence pickups. if it weren't for that ugly finish, it'd be probably the nicest import in it's price range, imo. it plays like butter.

I played a 79 series import and it was great, and they say the select series slay the 79s. you should definitely check them out if you get a chance.

tell your friend to join the official dean guitars forum. there is a dealer's section and they always cut prices well below MAP. there are dealers that cut deals you wouldn't believe, you've just got to know where to find them.

I love my FBD ML. I dont think that its worth the $900 price tag, but I got mine used for $350, and its the best guitar that I've ever played in that price range. The CFH guitar is pretty damn good too. One of the best guitars I've played. I have also played a Dean Cadillac used in a guitar center with 3 humbuckers, its pretty awesome too. They are great guitars, but can be a little expensive.

why dont people like the heads??

they're BLOODY AWSEOME!!!!!!!!!!!
