He's talking about that cartoon band dethklok I believe.

Never seen the show before though, so I have no idea what it's about.

It is, they're somewhat of a parody to the Metal genre. Although the show is pretty funny.

I have to say, I was more drawn to this thread in belief that there'd be a ham sandwich rather than discussion of what seems to be a fictional, 2D band.

But obviously even though the band is fictional someone has to make the music right? This guy Brendon Small and I think 1 or 2 other people make the music and do the voices for the show. They use the fake band to sell the CDs because that is who fans of the show are familiar with, not the creator. So.....

REAL MUSIC

FAKE BAND

The vocals annoy me too much to listen to their music outside of the show.

I've heard those songs, and then some. Like I said, the guitar is nice, but the vocals kill it.

Thats the problem though.
They dont use death metal growls or screaming etc.
They just use this kinda annoying (imo of course) deep voice thingy.

Wow they're making a Dethklok album?
Love the show, I find it funny.
I remember one episode where they were in the grocery store to buy food, didn't know what the place was called, and called it a "foods libraries"
Yes I am from Hawaii.

lol yeah. and the other burger place, Burzums or sumthin. and gorgoroths putt and stuff, finntrolls was the name of the grocery store. and they had a lake called "lake bodom" and"gulf of danzig". they also referenced metallica twice. like the first time where they got the counselor or whatever is a reference to when metallica was fighting constantly, went into therapy and then recorded a crappy album, and then again when they played with the london philharmonic. yeah, brendon small is a big metallica fan id say.

Dethklok? I'll be buying it.

Or maybe I'll just borrow one of my friends' copies and rip it to my computer.

Either way, it should be awesome.

You do know that Metallica did quite a few guest voices on the show, right?
