Wanted to get some advice on this song that I wrote. I'm stuck on the last line of the chorus. Also, is there anyone that would be willing to put music to it?
America’s True Idols

Verse 1:
They make the greatest sacrifice
Their lives are on the line
With their families at home
Worrying all the time

As we see many of them come home
Passing those many crosses
As soldiers give their salute
And as we say our goodbyes

Chorus:
'Cause they're America's true idols
Forever they will be
Fighting for our freedom
With great honor and dignity

Always we’ll remember
As we raise up that flag
America’s true idols
(last line here)

Verse 2:
Many of them lose their way
Along that long journey
But by luck they return home
With joy in their hearts

And we thank God for their return
Their return to help our country
But not on the battlefield
But in this economy of ours

Bridge:
Forever they will be in our hearts
We will remember them until our time
But their memories will continue into each
Generation to generation

Chorus:
'Cause they're America's true idols
Forever they will be
Fighting for our freedom
With great honor and dignity

Always we’ll remember
As we raise up that flag
America’s true idols
(last line here)

I envisioned this as a somewhat new era country/acoustic type song.
