to tell what your current string gauge is ive just bought a new schecter c1 about a month ago and i want to make sure to get the right gauge because im going to get some fretboard cleaner and im going to replace the strings also so does anybody know??

Get out a ruler =)

I'm not entirely sure there is a way to know. But an experienced guitarist would be able to tell by feel.

you could probably look it up on the schecter site

or maybe on like samash or musiciansfriend. sometimes they tell you the gauge of the strings that come with it

You're talkin about a thousanth of an inch (wait, it aint an inch, is it? What is it?) on a little thin wire. That would be extremely difficult to determine between one one-thousandth with calipers.
