This guy is selling his Engl Powerball for about €1000 (that's $1350).
but he said that it had JJ tubes.

When you buy the Engl Powerball brand new it has 1 x ECC 83 and 4 x 6L6GC power amp tubes.

But I've always played solid state amps, this is my first encounter with tubes, so are the JJ tubes any better than the ones the powerball is used to be dilivered with?

If not, is it still a good deal or should I just buy a new one (wich would be €1500/$2000)

MAIN QUESTION: Are JJ tubes beter than 6L6GC tubes? What's the difference?

Thanks a lot guys, it's kinda hard to get good infromation around here in Belgium, but I hope you guys can help me

JJ tubes are a pretty good brand for metal playing I hear.

6L6 is the type of tube, as is 12ax7, and EL34/EL84.

What do you mean comparison? JJ makes 6L6 tubes.

Just like Harmonix makes a 6L6 tube. And many other companies. It is the type of tube.

6L6's are very nice tubes. JJ 6L6's are very nice 6L6 tubes.

Do you get it?
