I'm going to be tackling a rather difficult song and I liked to ask what I should do to help myself learn it.
#2
just learn it and practice it over and over again

not to sound rude, but you need to get off the forums!

and start playing it at half speed or lower then slowly build up speed.
...Nothing you've ever...
...Planned on ever turned out...
...The way you planned...

...You're still disappointing them...

Always learn a song at a slower tempo when starting out. Do certain riffs and sections at a time, and build up speed as your fingers get more confident.

EDIT: ^ ^ ^ Damn, beat muh.

Gently rinse your hands in cool water. Then prepare a warm but gentle lather of icy hot and goats milk with a ratio 3:2. This will soften the harder song and you can then tackle it with little pain.

Practice?

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to put it, along with your other advice, into a book, the pages of which I will then use to wipe my ass.

I know a piano intructor and he told me a humourous story:

For those of you who don't know, Frederic Chopin has very difficult piano music.

A student asked a very skilled teacher during class "How do you tackle learning a difficult piece by someone like Chopin?". His reply was "I look at it and play it."

Just keep practicing it. It develops muscle memory then you can play it.

I met this chick I really liked and wanted to practice sex, so I practiced on some guy I met at a gas station...
