Okay, if YOU could choose the members, what would be your ultimate rock supergroup? Coz there are so many legends out there, its difficult to choose. So here would be mine: (Maybe!!)

Vocals: If it was early 90s then id say Chris Cornell.
Bassist: Flea. Period.
Drummer: Very hard. Dave Grohl.
Lead Guitarist: Again, very hard (no ****!). My pick would be for John Frusciante.
Rythm Guitarist: ****. I guess Kim Thayil. (He could easily be lead)
3rd Guitarist? (not that you'd need one): Mike McCready.

I dunno it seems stupid in a way. There are so many others that i could choose but its just for fun i guess.

Vocals : Eddie Vedder
Bass: Flea
Drummer: Matt Cameron
Lead Guitarist:Mike Mccready
Rythm Guitarist: Stone Gossard

I would say that for lead vocals, Maynard is my choice.
Bass guitar...Les Claypool wins that one.
Lead Guitar...John Petrucci
Drums...Neil Peart
If you have to have keyboards, Geddy Lee could do it.
That is my idea of a supergroup

Guitar: Billy Howerdel
Guitar & Vocals: Billy Corgan
Drums, programming, etc: Chris Vrenna
Keys, guitar, bass, synth, anything else: Danny Lohner

Of course, we'd have to insert a clause where Corgan can't fire anyone, or quit, or otherwise fuck this up to make this work.

most of these super groups look similar. Me personally wouldnt choose them based on skill alone. I see a lot of ppl chose Flea based on skill wise. Yes he is one of the better bass players in this genre but wouldnt be my pick because his style is too one dimensional. (I will get lots of feedback for that last comment)

I'm looking for a super group that wouldnt make music like the bands they are in.

So here are just a few..

Ben Burnley - Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
Eric Friedman - Lead Guitar
Brian Marshall - Bass
Matthew McDonough - Drums

Ian Thornley - Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
Tom Morello -Lead Guitar no Rhythm
Mark Klepaski - Bass
AJ Barrett - Drums

Chris Volz - Vocals
Mark Tremonti - All Guitars
Ryan Martinie - Bass
Jeremy Hummel - Drums

Myles Kennedy - Vocals/Guitar
Carl C. Bell - Lead Guitar
Chris Joannou - Bass
Daniel Adair - Drums

Daniel Johns - Vocals/Guitar
Jerry Cantrell - Lead Guitar
Ryan Jurhs - bass
Scott Phillips - Drums
