I've been playing bass for almost a year and I've started coming across some faster songs in my playing and I've faced the problem of simply not being able to play fast enough but also my right hand can also become tired while playing fast pieces, now I know this is gonna take practice and im not asking for some instant fix I’d just appreciate some advice on how I should go about speeding up my playing and how i should build strength in my picking hand.

Get a metronome going and play scales up and down the neck with it, preferably 2 octave scales. Start off slow and just speed it up gradually. And the more you play the better your endurance will become.
