The other night I looked up and I could't see the stars,
They were gone,
They were gone.

The other day I woke up early just to see the purple dawn,
It was gone,
It was gone.

When will we finally realize,
Destroying Mother Nature,
It is wrong,
It is wrong.

But way back when,
When the sky was blue,
I could see the stars
And the dawn was purple too,
I thought,

This too will pass,
Becuse nothing is forever,
Most good things never last,
This too will pass.

The other day I tried to find meaning in this twisted world of ours,
It was hard,
It was hard.

The crime the guns the violence all recorded by the bard,
It is hard,
It is hard.

How can politicians sit by and watch while other people lose the game of life,
Play your card,
Play your card.

But way back when,
When the sky was blue,
There was no war,
And the East was peaceful too,
I thought,

This too will pass,
Because nothing is forever,
Most good things never last,
This too will pass.

This too will pass.

Like the repeating of the second and third lines, I presume it goes with the music to the piece, which makes it hard for me to comment on it. Other than that I like the flow of it and found it quite a good read.

"How can politicians sit by and watch wile other people lose the game of life"

while? and I don't really get the "game of life".. maybe replace that with something a bit better.

Other than good work man.

Crit Shadow Show (in sig) if you can.

Add some more depth, maybe go into a little detail about the pain? I dunno, its got a nice feel to it.
