Hmmm, well it depends on not a lot.

Look into the vox valvetronix, or if you are into metal check out the roland cube series.

No, I don't do the metal. My band and I are Indie alternative kinda. So Like the vox would work well?

I got a Peavey Valveking for $430 at guitar center, it would work for that.

Well, I have around 600 dollars right now, but I only wanna spend about half of it, because its my New guitar fund. So somewhere around 300-350.

I have the AD30VT, great amp, does every style of music you can think of (including Metal, unlike popular belief), it's a pretty loud amp, I don't think I've ever turned it up past half way, but I've never used it when practicing with my band, so I wouldn't know if it's quite loud enough to get over drums.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
