My Bassist, only has a 15 watt bass amp, and the rest of have a 150 watt solid state, and an 80 watt valve, and he wants to save up for a 20 watt solid state bass amp... wtf =s

Well, I wanted to ask what good bass amps there are, for fairly cheap, that could be heard with drums && the above amps playing.

Thanks =]

It doesn't have to be a really high-end amp, just something that could be heard at gigs etc, or could be attached to a cab =]

ps. cheap = £100 to £200

Like I keep suggesting atm, I would say the Lnaey RB4, 200 quid and will easily be heard over drums and guitars I reckon

in this price range, try to look for a used amp. i'm thinkin' a 100watt minimum. used Fender, Hartke, Crate, SWR, and Peavey's are a good place to start. that kind of money won't buy a new amp, big enough to cover two guitars, and drums.

fender or hartke would be the way to go. probably 60 watts or more. the fender rumble 60 or 100 are nice amps for the money
