I recconmend buying the complete wiring, no pickguard, from The STRATosphere on eBay. At my local guitar shop, they restored a 1963 Jazzmaster and getting period correct parts, or just parts in general was HELL. I'm talkin' 'bout those 4 switches.
Oh, and I think an aged 3-ply pickguard always looks secksy on a jazzmaster.

But would they fitt a warmoth body?

And to the guy about the color: That body is the cheapest, and i love feista red. The only color i like more is the Sparkle purple on the J mascis sig jazzmaster.

I saw a J-bass with a blonde finish and a black pickguard which I think would look nice on this. heres a pic

I'm going to go with the red and whatever pickguard I can find, simply because its easiest. And I don't like natural finsh's on Jag/jazz shapes.

If it has those bands under noise rock, it is definitely not the worst genre ever.....

Nice guitar, Jazzmasters are sexy.
