i need to use guitar pro in the studio to use its metronome because our songs have dream theater style time changes. The problem is sometimes guitar pro doesnt change its metronome when the tempo or time sig has changed through the song.

Anyone know how to sort this?

Um I don't think you can

But create a drum track and have the same drum (DrumStick maybe) playing every second Quarter-note or something
That way it'll follow the time-sig changes

Hope that makes sense...

well you can change the the time signature and the tempo but i don't know if the metronome will work. i never use the metronome

I meant the metronome won't change with it, I know you can change time sigs and tempo (Jesus Christ people take you for morons here...)

If your problem is the metronome not changing time sig with the song, then do what I said
Make your own metronome on a seperate track.
That way it will follow the song exactly..

How do you change a tempo in the middle of the song on guitar pro? I know you can but I haven't worked out how yet.

Right click the note where you want the tempo change (well the bar)
And go on the Mix Table
S'on there
