I used to be wicked into them but I think Daggermouth is better so once I started listening to them I stopped listing to SYG.
#5
I listen to both, but Daggermouth is pretty much superior to Set Your Goals. I love the first track of Mutiny!

Already a long thread on these guys too.

They're not talking about hardcore punk, they're talking about "hardcore." It has little in common with its roots in the '80s.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

^ totally agreed

Set Your Goals is a great band though, despite the amount of **** bands they tour with. Reset will always be one of my favorite albums, and almost half of mutiny is good. (Work In Progress, We Do It For the Money, Mutiny, This Very Moment, and a few others are great.)

But as mentioned, Daggermouth is way better. Incredible band.

They're tight. I like them.

why does everyone hate on TDWP
they really are a good band if your a true hardcore fan
i guess people on ug are more into metalcore and punk hardcore....

^Wouldn't go that far.

STYG is more motivational and there's plenty of bands that go beyond them.

Amazing band and really awesome guys. My band opened for their show and it was literally quite an empty room all night but they still rocked out.

Love them, bummed I had to miss them on Monday night.

Anyone wanna hook up some Daggermouth?

I already have both albums uploaded on mediafire so I'll PM you the links.

Mutiny and Reset are both great records. I do find myself listening to Mutiny quite a bit more often, though.

Daggermouth is playing here in a week or so with Dead Hearts and Seventh Star. I can't wait.

Instead of Set Your Goals, listen to bands like Shook Ones, Lifetime, New Found Glory and The Ergs!

Self-Titled, Nothing Gold Can Stay, Sticks And Stones is pretty good too. Actually, just buy them all. You can't go wrong with NFG.

I love this band. I first heard the song Mutiny! from oneof my friends and decided to buy Mutiny! and Reset. And both turned out to be amazing.
#35
Probaly my favourite band, what's everyone think of the new album? I don't like it as much as Mutiny but it has some good tracks.
Yours Sincerely,
