Yeah bassplayer.tv is pretty cool. Particularly if you like Metal and you're a beginner because Ellefson's lessons aren't too bad.

Just started having lessons with this guy, Dave Marks. He is also a teacher at the Bass Institute in London and contributor to Bass Guitar Magazine and does all those style files. He is perhaps the best teacher of music I have ever encountered. Also it helps that he is generally an amiable chap... so much so he posts these YouTube lessons for free.

If you check out his website www.davemarks.com, you will find mp3's for the lessons on BGM with the printed article! This is among other things.

That is the best video ever. Ever. Ever. It'll make you a pro. Just punch yourself in the face every time you hear the guy say 'slap and pop stuff'.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

What the hell is he saying, I don't understand a word that comes out of his mouth.

I'm not sure what all the words are, but he's saying 'slap and pop stuff', oh, 50 times.
