As the name implies, name the songs that you play for the hell of it.

For instance, I play stuff like
Superfreak- Rick James
Anotherone Bites The Dust- Queen
Dance Dance (and a crap load of other pop punk/ Emo songs)

Maybe that cleared things up... Anyway have at it.
SX Ursa 2
G&L Tribute L-2500
Ibanez ATK700 (all but sold)
Ashdown Elec. Blue 180 (need something else...)

rhcp-cant stop

and some of my bands original songs

tho its not too smart to just stick to a few sngs ive noticed
it just stalls your learning of the bass...

The improvisation song

Yep.
I've spent so much time playing it, but it never finishs

But only if you ride the tide
And balanced on the biggest wave
You race toward an early grave.

that song is so damn fun to play and go all out crazy on.. it gets me so pumped up. i'm usualy jumping off everything in my room and during the breakdown i jump up and down and headbang to the beat etc etc etc.. and being able to play it perfectly at the same time and adding some improvisations makes it even more fun.

Usually I'll play some Muse, I'm loving Supermassive Black Hole at the minute.

The power to feel with others give.

Megadeth - Dread and the Fugative Mind:

thats a great song to play, but damn it, im stuck at the fast part at 2:03 in the song
i can never make that sound right for some reason...even wen i use 3 finger technique to play faster, and i dont know why.
but its a very sweet song to play.

also, megadeth- my last words is pretty sweet jam
any RATM (check out the beginning of calm like a bomb. good stuff)
motorhead- damage case has a pretty cool sounding solo
black sabbath- into the void/electric funeral

"Master of Puppets" - Primus (sometimes I slap, sometimes a finger, I just try keeping it fresh)

"Killing In The Name" - Rage Against The Machine (not a fan of the band, but it's catchy)

"Cowboys From Hell" - Pantera (great song)

Of course, those aren't the only ones I play, but they're my favorites that I play for fun.
#38
I've found out that Lithium by Nirvana is a really fun song to jam along with. Found it out the other night when I was paying attention to the bass, the line gets kinda groovy around 2:20 seconds in.

Anyone else agree?
