they have dye for ebony boards.

ive heard of guys using kiwi shoe polish as well. but i dont know man. id be careful what i coated my board with.

some guys try to even out a board color. some like the look of ebony.

on maple, dark areas give a vintage look.

my strat has some neck shading. looks nice. but took over 10 years.
