I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

haha, i love it. it would need either some ****ed up routing for the pups, or perhaps the whole thing would need a pickguard with a swimming pool rout. anyways, very cool

i can't imagine that having much sustain...

i think it would have to be a baritone too. i don't think you'll be able to fit 4 humbuckers in the space between the neck and the bridge on a typical strat. It won't be easy anyway...
Rig Winter 2017:

Fender Jazzmaster/Yamaha SG1000
Boss TU-3, DS-2, CS-3, EHX small stone, Danelectro delay
Laney VC30-112 with G12H30 speaker, or Session Rockette 30 for smaller gigs
Elixir Nanoweb 11-49 strings, Dunlop Jazz III XL picks
Shure SM57 mic in front of the amp

Yep. It's basically spam in here.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

I can't imagine having a use for something like that. But I wonder what having all four pickups on would sound like... And yeah, four pickups will suck all the sustain right out of that guitar.
Daron. The Pit loves you.
daron aka kosmic is now a pit legend
Best post on the pit. Good for you.
thats pretty epic.
So you're like a slower paced Forrest Gump...
Yup...

That's like the guitar from spinal tap, except in super-strat form, and with EMGs.
