Question.

I gave.I've been a big fan of Pantera since I got 10(14 now) so he was still alive. My dad first talked about him and gave me Vulgar Display Of Power to listen, and I was like, whoa, freaking killer riffs and solos by this guy(Dime). And now he has been a very big influence in my playing.God bless him! R.I.P. Dimebag.

But Zakk is one of my favourites too,I first saw him on Ozzy's DVD Live In Budokan. At first I didn't give **** about him, but then I realized that he's insane as Dime and I watched the DVD over and over again to see him.

Dime was a true genius. Zakk and Dime both played in a metal and hard rock style but they both had elements of southern rock. It showed they weren't just metalheads.
Currently in blues mode.

stupid question.
answer = lots. yes, theres a lot of people who only became aware of him, or only began praising him after his death, but Pantera were one of the biggest metal bands in the world, Dime has been a huge influence on a large amount of people since Cowboys.
