Has anyone had any experiences with this guitar, either good or bad? I've got a line on one for 600 bucks (new), which I consider to be a reasonable price on it, but I won't be able to play it before. I've played regular American strats and enjoyed them, but just curious to know what you guys think.

They are nice guitars, my friend has one and I'll use it from time to time for band practice when I'm over there.

How does it compare to a regular MIA strat?

I know it's got the Custom 54' pickups on it, and I haven't heard what they're like.

I don't know...I've been exclusive to Gibson until this point. It's going to be a tough sell making the transition to a Fender...
