I have a VERY n00bish question. I've seen the wiring diagrams on Seymourduncan.com and it shows the humbuckers having 5 wires, but when I see a humbucker on...eBay for example, it only has 1 wire. How do you get humbuckers with multiple wires?

There are 5 wires in the one big wire, that's how mine was.

Edit: There was a wire, a red, a green, a white, and a black I think.

Yes, it could be like that, or the pickup could just have 2 wires in one, you can't coil tap these, but you can take the pup apart and wire it again so it could have 5 wires. unless you're planning on installing a coil tap, don't worry about the ones with two wires.

I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

Yeah, but I'm not much in the guitar wiring dept. I've been able to change a single coil since I was 12, but not much else.
